This guide walks you through everything you need to know to create, manage, and share interactive learning content with Creatiq.
1. Getting Started
Logging In
- Open Creatiq in your browser.
- Enter your email address and password on the login screen.
- Click Sign In.
- You will be taken to your Workspace -- the home screen where all your content lives.
If you forget your password, contact your organization's administrator for a reset.
Workspace Overview
Your workspace is organized around collections -- think of them as folders that group related content together.
When you first log in, you will see:
- Collections Grid -- All your collections displayed as cards. Each card shows the collection title, number of items, and curriculum tags.
- Smart Collections -- Two built-in collections appear at the top:
- Uncategorized -- Content that has not been added to any collection yet.
- Recent -- Content created or modified in the last 7 days.
- Search Bar -- Find collections by name, description, or subject. You can also press
Ctrl+K(orCmd+Kon Mac) to jump to search instantly. - Top Bar -- Contains the Creatiq logo, language selector, theme toggle (light/dark mode), your profile info with plan badge, and a logout button.
First-Time Users
If you are new and have no content yet, Creatiq shows a welcome screen with quick-start buttons:
- Quiz -- Create a quiz immediately.
- Flashcards -- Create a flashcard set.
- Fill in the Blanks -- Create a fill-in-the-blanks exercise.
Click any of these, or click the main Create with AI button to get started.
2. Creating Content
Creatiq offers two ways to create interactive learning content:
AI Copilot (Recommended)
The fastest way to create content. Describe what you want in plain language, and the AI generates it for you. See Section 3 for full details.
Manual Creation (H5P Editor)
For fine-grained control, you can use the built-in H5P editor directly:
- Click the + Create button in the top bar.
- Complete the Course Wizard (see below), then the H5P editor opens.
- Select a content type from the editor's content type selector.
- Fill in the fields manually -- questions, answers, media, feedback, and settings.
- Click Save when you are done.
Course Wizard
Before you start creating, Creatiq guides you through a Course Wizard to set your curriculum context. This is a step-by-step process that includes:
- Curriculum Framework -- Select the educational framework (e.g., national curriculum, IB, Common Core).
- Grade Level -- Choose the target grade or age group.
- Subject -- Pick the subject area.
- Topic -- Select specific topics from the curriculum tree.
This context is important because it helps the AI generate pedagogically appropriate content and enables curriculum alignment features.
The wizard shows a step indicator in the top bar. Navigate with the Back and Next buttons. When you reach the last step, click Start Creating to proceed to the editor.

3. AI Copilot
The AI Copilot is your assistant for creating content quickly. It lives in a sidebar panel on the right side of the editor screen.
How to Open the Copilot
- On desktop: The Copilot sidebar appears automatically alongside the editor.
- On mobile: Tap the floating star button in the bottom-right corner to open the Copilot drawer.
- To collapse the sidebar on desktop, click the collapse button. Click the vertical "Copilot" strip to expand it again.
Source Selection
When you open the Copilot, you first choose your source -- what you want the AI to work with:
| Source | Description |
|---|---|
| Topic | Describe a topic in your own words. Best for generating content from scratch. |
| Document | Upload a PDF or text document. The AI extracts key concepts and creates questions from it. |
| Video | Provide a video URL. The AI analyzes the video content and generates related activities. |
| URL | Paste a web page URL. The AI reads the page and creates content based on it. |
| Image | Upload an image. The AI creates activities based on visual content. |
| Remix | Select an existing piece of content and transform it into a different content type. |
Generation from Topic
The most common workflow:
- Select Topic as your source.
- Choose a content type from the visual grid (e.g., Multiple Choice, Flashcards).
- Type your topic or paste text in the topic field. If you set curriculum context in the wizard, the default topic is pre-filled.
- Optionally adjust advanced settings:
- Question Count -- How many questions to generate (1-50, default 10).
- Bloom's Taxonomy Level -- Target a specific cognitive level (Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, Create) or leave on "Auto" to let the AI decide.
- Custom Instructions -- Add specific guidance like "Focus on vocabulary for beginners" or "Include real-world examples."
- Stock Image -- Attach a stock photo to image-based content types.
- Click Generate.
- Review the results in the preview area.
Generation Modes
Depending on the content type and your plan, you may see different generation modes:
- Single -- Generate one piece of content at a time.
- Bulk -- Generate multiple variations at once (5, 10, or 20 items). Useful for creating large question banks.
- Differentiated -- Generate the same content at multiple difficulty levels.
Quick Actions
Below the source cards, you will find a row of Quick Action buttons for the most common content types:
- Quiz (Multiple Choice)
- Flashcard
- True/False
- Fill in the Blanks
Clicking a quick action pre-selects both the source (Topic) and the content type, so you can start typing your topic right away.
Modify Existing Content
When you already have content, the Copilot offers actions to transform it:
| Action | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Translate | Convert content to another language while preserving structure. |
| Simplify | Reduce difficulty level -- shorter sentences, simpler vocabulary. |
| Make Harder | Increase difficulty -- more complex questions, deeper analysis required. |
| Expand | Add more questions or content items to an existing set. |
| Add Hints | Automatically generate helpful hints for each question. |
Analyze Content
Get insights about your content quality:
| Analysis | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Quality Check | Overall quality score with improvement suggestions. |
| Bloom's Analysis | Distribution across Bloom's taxonomy levels. |
| Difficulty Assessment | How challenging the content is for the target audience. |
| Accessibility Review | Checks for accessibility issues and suggests improvements. |
Chat Interface
At the bottom of the Copilot sidebar, there is always a text input where you can type free-form messages to the AI. Use this for:
- Asking questions about your content.
- Requesting specific changes ("Change question 3 to focus on photosynthesis").
- Getting suggestions ("What other topics should I cover for this grade level?").
Curriculum Context Bar
If you completed the Course Wizard, a curriculum context bar appears in the Copilot showing your selected framework, grade, subject, and topics. This context automatically guides AI generation to produce curriculum-aligned content.
4. Content Editor
After AI generation or when editing existing content, you work in the H5P Editor.
Editor Layout
- The main area shows the H5P editor with all fields for the selected content type.
- The AI Copilot sidebar sits on the right (desktop) or is accessible via the floating button (mobile).
Working with the Editor
Each content type has its own set of fields. Common elements include:
- Title -- The name of your content piece.
- Questions/Items -- The core interactive elements (questions, cards, timeline events, etc.).
- Feedback -- Messages shown when learners answer correctly or incorrectly.
- Behavioral Settings -- Options like randomize order, show retry button, show solution, pass percentage.
- Media -- Add images, audio, or video to enrich content.
Saving Content
Click the Save button in the editor to save your work. New content gets a unique ID. Saved content appears in your workspace and can be added to collections.
5. Collections
Collections help you organize content into meaningful groups -- by unit, lesson, topic, or any structure that works for you.
Creating a Collection
- On the workspace home screen, click the + New Collection card or the New Collection button.
- In the dialog that appears, enter:
- Title (required) -- e.g., "Unit 3: Cell Biology"
- Description (optional) -- A brief summary of what this collection covers.
- Visibility -- Choose Private (only you) or Public (visible to the community).
- Curriculum Tags -- Attach framework, grade, subject, and topic tags.
- Click Create.
Collection Detail View
Click a collection card to open its detail view. Here you will find:
- Header -- Collection title, visibility badge (public/private), and description.
- Curriculum Info Bar -- Shows attached curriculum framework, grade, subject, and topics.
- Items Tab -- All content items in this collection, displayed as cards. Each card shows the content type, title, and a play button.
- Suggestions Tab -- AI-powered suggestions for improving your collection (see below).
- Add Content button -- Add new or existing content to this collection.
Reordering Items
Content items in a collection can be reordered. Drag items to rearrange them in the sequence you want learners to follow.
Bloom's Gap Analysis
Switch to the Suggestions tab to see the Bloom's Distribution Chart. This shows:
- A bar chart with six Bloom's taxonomy levels: Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, Create.
- The percentage and count of items at each level.
- A coverage score (high/medium/low) indicating how well-balanced your collection is.
- Gap warnings -- Highlighted levels with a warning icon where you have no or few items. For example, if your collection has many "Remember" questions but nothing at "Analyze," the chart flags that gap.
Smart Suggestions
Below the Bloom's chart, Creatiq shows content suggestions -- existing content from your library or community content that could fill the identified gaps. Each suggestion card shows:
- Content title and type.
- Bloom's taxonomy level.
- An Add button to include it in your collection with one click.
Deleting a Collection
On the collections grid, each collection card has a delete option. Deleting a collection removes the grouping but does not delete the content items themselves.
6. Marketplace
The marketplace lets you discover and reuse content shared by the community.
Browsing Community Content
- Navigate to the marketplace view (public content browser).
- Use the search bar to find content by keyword.
- Apply filters to narrow results:
- Content Type -- Filter by specific H5P types (Multiple Choice, Flashcards, etc.).
- Curriculum Filters -- Filter by framework, grade, subject, or topic.
- Content is displayed in a grid of cards. Each card shows the title, content type, creator name, and preview thumbnail.
Adding Community Content
When you find content you want to use:
- Click Add to Collection to add a copy to one of your collections.
- Click Preview to try the content before adding it.
Content added from the marketplace is cloned into your library -- you get your own copy that you can edit freely without affecting the original.
Pagination
Large result sets are paginated. Use the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom to navigate through pages. The current range (e.g., "1-20 / 156") is shown between the buttons.
7. Curriculum Alignment
Creatiq integrates with an external curriculum service (ECC -- EduAgentic Central Curriculum) to provide structured curriculum metadata.
Attaching Curriculum to Content
When creating content through the Course Wizard, you select:
- Framework -- The educational standard (e.g., Turkish MEB, UK National Curriculum, Common Core).
- Grade -- The year or grade level.
- Subject -- The subject area (Math, Science, Language, etc.).
- Topics -- Specific curriculum topics.
This metadata travels with your content and appears in collection views, search filters, and the Copilot context bar.
Attaching Curriculum to Collections
When creating a collection, you can attach the same curriculum tags. This enables:
- Better organization and discoverability.
- Bloom's gap analysis that is aware of curriculum expectations.
- Smarter AI suggestions aligned to your curriculum.
8. Export
Creatiq content can be exported for use in other systems.
H5P Package Download
Export any content item as a standalone .h5p file. This file can be uploaded to any H5P-compatible platform (Moodle, WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
SCORM Export
For learning management systems that support SCORM, content can be exported as a SCORM package. This enables grade tracking and completion reporting within your LMS.
Embedding
Content can be embedded in external websites or LMS platforms via iframe. The embed URL format is:
/embed/{contentId}?token={authToken}
The embed player automatically:
- Loads the H5P content with full interactivity.
- Sends xAPI events to the parent window via postMessage.
- Auto-resizes the iframe to fit the content height.
- Reports errors to the hosting application.
9. Settings
Access settings by clicking the gear icon in the workspace top bar.
Profile
View your account information:
- Name -- Your display name.
- Email -- Your registered email address.
Profile information is managed by your organization's administrator.
